著名婴幼儿研究专家 Robert C.Titzer 博士的研究成果为基础(博士的女儿在九个月大时就已经学会认字)，Your Baby Can Read 是一套英语阅读学习教材。幼儿对语言的学习接受度远超过大人，学习阅读其实可以和口语学习一样容易。事实上，英语阅读的学习就如同学习第二外国语一样，在五岁前学习会比五岁后学习容易得多。Your Baby Can Read 系列的设计是针对语言学习的黄金时期，给予多重感官的接触与学习。

Your Baby Can Read 的教材系列，由美国著名婴幼儿研究专家Dr.Robert Titzer所制作。
Dr.Titzer 曾任教于美国 4 间不同大学，致力于儿童心理学习发展范畴，并研究出世界上第一套专为婴幼儿及学龄前幼童(3个月到5岁的孩子)而设计的英语阅读学习教材。Dr.Titzer 指出：「幼儿脑部发展速度奇高，他们对语言学习的接收能力远超越成人，只要运用适当的教学方式，在幼儿阶段已可以掌握外语口语及阅读。」
透过这套教材，幼儿可以自然、有趣的方法，轻松地将语言输入脑中。在美国，5 岁以下儿童不一定入读幼儿园，因此部分家长会选用这套教材，在家教导孩子学习英语，而美国有部分幼儿园亦采用他的教材。
(Your Baby Can Read)其理念是透过多元感官，包括视觉、听觉、触觉、动觉等感官，来促进孩子的学习。据称，3个月大的幼儿已可以使用，家长每天只要给孩子看1小时左右的 DVD教材，并可因应孩子的喜好，让他每天早晚分两次，每次看半小时，或每天看3次 DVD，首两次看20分钟，最后一次看10分钟等，一个月后再根据系列的建议进行复习，孩子即可以掌握英语阅读能力。
Dr.Titzer 称：「幼儿毋须经过学习字母名称(Letter Names)的阶段，然后把字母的外貌与语音结合等抽象学习阶段，已可以掌握英语阅读法则。孩子在看DVD及由家长陪同阅读系列的相关书籍时，已可以自行归纳出语音及语法规则，如透过阅读Baby、Bottle、Bear、Boy等知道B的发音为「Ba」；知道动作进行时，动词需要加上「ing」等。
当孩子完成这套课程，可以搭配闪卡跟孩子进行更深的认字活动，待孩子掌握到 100 个英文字时，可跟孩子阅读英语图书；及至孩子能明白所阅读英语的内容时，他自然更有自信，更有信心去学习英语的阅读、写作、听力及口语。
就像博士说的:父母可以一起引导小朋友去阅读这些字卡,让小朋友进而发现原来电视上所认识的字,在书本上也能看到,可以增加小朋友看书的兴趣!

Your Baby Can Read! is an early language development system for infants and toddlers. Based on the research of Dr. Robert Titzer, the DVDs employ whole reading and some phonics to help babies learn language patterns during an optimal time when their brains are developing rapidly and are intensely focused on picking up language patterns.
According to Dr. Titzer, babies can learn the patterns of written language just as naturally and easily as they learn the patterns of spoken language. Often though, babies are not exposed to enough written language for this learning to occur.
The Your Baby Can Read! system contains five DVDs which are focused on helping babies and kids up to five years old learn to read by giving them a multi-sensory experience with heavy exposure to print.
Your Baby Can Read! - Curriculum
Your Baby Can Read! DVDs are multi-sensory, meaning viewing children will learn through hearing, seeing, speaking, and moving. Kids are encouraged to learn through action as they clap, touch their ears, or raise their arms along with the babies and children on the screen. Children will also enjoy singing along with familiar songs and playing the word games at the end of each DVD
